Emma: "Mommy, how old are you?"
Me: "33."
E: "Am I older than you?"
M: "No. No matter how old you get you'll never be older than me."
E: "And you'll never be faster than me."
M: "Why is that?"
E: "Because the older you get, the slower you get. And you are old."

Emma Being Emma

Emma: "I like my brain."
Me: "I like it too."
Emma: "Yeah but I like it because it's pink."

Product Placement (a.k.a Perhaps He Watches Too Much TV)

When asked what he wanted for breakfast this morning, Logan responded, "Blueberry Mini Wheats in the bowl with no milk." But when I placed Emma's waffles in front of her they suddenly became much more appealing then his cereal.

L: "Mommy I want waffles."
Me: "Sorry Logan you asked for cereal this morning so that's what you've got."
L: "Emma can I have your waffles?"
E: "No."
L: "C'mon Emma. Leggo my Eggo."

The Cute Little Baby Sure Can Hit

Logan woke up last night while Adam & I were watching the Red Sox and cuddled between us on the couch during the celebration when they beat the Angels. When he saw 5'9" Dustin Pedroia jump into the arms of 6'4" David Ortiz, he laughed and said:

"Ahhh look at the cute little baby."

The Boy Knows What He Wants Likes

Emma was running down a list of all the stuff she has planned for us to do this weekend and as usual Logan was agreeing enthusiastically.

E: "And we're going to go bike riding."
L: "I like bike riding."
E: "And we're going to play on the swing set."
L: "I like the swing set."
E: "And we're going to go apple picking."
L: "I like apple picking."
E: "And we're going to go snowboarding."
L: "I like snowboarding."
E: "You don't even know what snowboarding is."
L: "I know...but I know I like it."
