Another Lesson in Cliches from Emma

The scene is 7:30 this a.m. Logan is belting out an indistinguishable song at the top of his lungs when Emma calmly (and by calmly I mean yelling at the top of her lungs) says...

"Please L.J., Can you just give me a piece of quiet?"

I guess it works either way right?

Fun in the Dryer

Don't worry..no children were harmed in the making of this blog entry.

And Logan was enjoying himself until Emma decided to crawl in with him!

Teaching Good Eating Habits

I was reading the ingredients to Logan's V8 Fruit Splash to Emma in the hopes that she would want to try it.......

Me: "Emma look it has carrot juice, apple juice, pineapple juice, pear juice, cherry juice and high fructose corn syrup."

Eavesdropping Logan: "Ummmmmm....Corn Syrup. Yummy in my tummy."

Take That MC Hammer

Logan decided at 7 a.m. to play with his very loud, very obnoxious toy Hummer. How obnoxious is it you ask? It plays 'You Can't Touch This' at decibels loud enough to make your ears bleed. After about 10 minutes of listening to this, just as I was ready to go throw my muscle pants on, Emma calmly gets off the couch, removes the car from Logan's hand, flips it over and finds a...volume control button. She hands it back to Logan, looks at me and says...

"I did that for both of us."

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this kid?

The King of Comebacks

Overheard: Emma and Logan arguing over a toy.
Emma: "If you don't give that back to me, Momma's going to send you to Mexico!"
Logan: "I no Nexigo, you Nexigo Emma!"

Does anyone have a shipping container (preferably with breathing holes) large enough to send them both to Mexico?

At Least the Deer Won't See You Coming...

So now we are a society that needs beer with it's own camouflage?
Feel free to leave your comments as to why this is necessary...

Pumpkin Patch Picture Overload

I'm pretty sure my children think I'm the paparazzi.

Another Gem From Miss Emma

Overheard:
Emma tell the meowing cat as I was fixing her breakfast this morning...
"Be quiet fat cat, she's feeding me now, not you."

Tales of More Snow Bodily Functions

My dear, sweet feminine daughter just ripped a fart with such length and velocity that I about fell off my chair. Then she looked at me, laughed and said, "Wow, that sounded just like a bullet."

Because Emma spends all her free time at the firing range.

Save the Drama for Your Momma

I finally got an extremely cranky, sleep-deprived Logan settled with me on the couch this morning after an hour or so of screaming. When I asked Emma (who was laying on the floor) if she wanted to cuddle with us, she responded..
"No Thanks, I'll just stay down here where there's no drama."

We have a Benedict Arnold on our Hands

LJ's Red Sox hat has gone missing so I was telling Emma we had to get him a new one. This is the conversation that followed.
Emma: "We should get him a Yankees hat."
Me: WWHHHHAAAAATTTT!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Emma: "I have to pack my bags and leave, don't I?"

Expanding Her Vocabulary

Logan grabbed up Emma's new Disney Princess locket and after she snatched it back from him she yelled,
"Logan don't touch that. It's very very fragical."

Barbie Goes Commando

Adam found a dune buggy at work and brought it home so Logan would have more "Boy Toys" to play with. Logan had it for about 15 minutes before Emma figured out that her Barbies would fit perfectly in it. She immediately commandeered it so her dolls could ride to the royal ball in style. Logan was not a happy boy.

Rainy Day Arts & Crafts

Severe Case of Bed Head Popeye
Pumpkin Painting
Emma Painting her Pumpkin
Logan Trying to Get Some Paint on the Pumpkin

Hello, Is This DSS?

I took the kiddos to Friendly's for dinner last night because Adam was working late and frankly I was too darn lazy to cook. When the waitress asked Emma what she wanted to drink, she said "Chocolate milk please." When the waitress asked Logan what he wanted to drink, he said "I beer pease."

I'm pretty sure my mother of the year award will be arriving in the mail any day now. After all they are very polite children.

She's Got the Power

Emma was watching T.V. today as I was holding Logan in a half-nelson, trying desperately to wipe the syrup from breakfast off of his face. In between his piercing screams, Emma yelled, "Logan be quiet. She's just washing your face, she's not trying to destroy you!"

Surprisingly he stopped struggling, smiled at me and let me finish my task.

Not Sure What He Means By That

Logan walked up to me, hugged my legs and said, "Momma you yummy." Then he walked away, turned around and stuck his tongue out at me.

Bathtub Bubble Fun

I think we all know who was responsible for this.
