I just got finished telling Emma that because her behavior has been so exceptional the last few weeks that she was going to get to go see the Hannah Montana concert in 3D that is coming out in the theaters this weekend. She looked at me with eyes wide open and started......hysterically crying. When I pulled her into my lap and asked what was wrong, she replied through hiccups:
"I'm so happy and excited I just can't stop crying."
I believe this is the same reaction I had when I found out I was going to see New Kids on the Block in concert. Danny, Donny, Joey, Jon & Jordan made me cry like a little girl too.

It's Time Once Again for the White Trash Awards
Today was Logan's 2 year check-up and the doctor was checking out his feet since he walks on the inside of them. She commented that it just looked like he is super flexible and it should correct itself in time. I told her that he does have the ability to do a split (shut up Chris) so she asked me if I thought he would show her.
"Hey Logan, show Dr. Ciampa how you do a split?", I said.
And my dear charming boy spit on the floor of the examining room.
Now that, my friends, is high class.

It's Time Once Again for the Mother of the Year Awards
Whenever the kids aren't doing what I want/need them to do I tell them I'm going to beat their booty butts and then I chase them around while they mockingly laugh at me. Today I was trying to get Emma to clean up her toys so I said it to her and as I closed in to chase her when she said something that stopped me in my track.
"You mean you're going to beat my ass."
Mother-Of-The-Year-Folks.
P.S. I don't really beat them. So hang up with DSS OK?

Gender Equality
Apparently we are teaching Logan the proper gender roles as he came up to me the other day and said:
"Mommy, I'm hungey. Make me dinner."
Yes sir, right away sir.

Momma Ruins All My Fun
A Conversation with Logan
Logan: "Momma can I yick the kicky?"
Me: "No Logan you can't lick the kitty."
Logan: "Momma can I yick you?"
Me: "No Logan."
Logan: "AAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWW dat's no fair."
Because in a fair world we could lick whoever we wanted without having to ask permission.

"Emma"ly Post
Emma and Logan were fighting over who was going to be the first one through the front door yesterday when Em said to Logan,
"Be a gentleman...let the lady go first."
This happened right before the "lady" elbowed her little bro to the side and made her way into the house.

Further Proof That He Is Indeed My Son
After having his Daddy around for almost 3 weeks, Logan has been wandering around like a lost little puppy now that Adam has gone back to work. He has also entered the dreaded "why" stage. Here's our conversation from this morning.
Logan: "Momma where's my Daddy?"
Me: "Daddy's at work."
Logan: "Awwww. Why Daddy at work?"
Me: "Because it's his job."
Logan: "Why it his job?"
Me: "Because Daddy takes care of us."
Logan: "Why Daddy take care us."
Me: "Because he needs to bring home the bacon."
Logan: "Ummmmmm Bacon."

Turning Him Towards the Dark Side
Yesterday I found Emma huddled in the doorway of the kitchen dressed as the "evil fairy godmother" (her words). She was pointing her magic wand at Adam who was making dinner and whispering, "Al-a-kazoom Al-a-kazaam make Adam (again her words) my evil minion."
I don't know where she got my spell but I didn't have the heart to tell her that it doesn't work.

Birthday Hangover
Logan awoke at 2 a.m. in a crying panic. When I went to check on him and ask what was wrong, he cried out 3 words.
"I want cake."
Then he rolled over and went to back to sleep.

Wise Beyond Her Years
Emma was applauding herself after using the toilet the other day when I reminded her she has been potty trained for 2 years now. Her reply?:
"It's all a learning journey Momma."
Yes grasshopper.

Do Walruses Like Scorpian Bowls? (As Suggested By C.J. Mack)
So my brother shouldn't suggest that I put these pictures on here when I have been stuck in bed for 5 days topped full of Vicodin. But the drugs definitely make it funnier even when it hurts to laugh.

The San Diego Zoo called for you. They said they have the perfect mate waiting and she's in heat. Bring along one of those scorpian bowls and you're sure to get lucky.
