Emma: "Mom, did you know Barack Obama is famous now?"
Me: "Yes I did."
Emma: "Why is he famous?"
Me: "He is the new president of the United States."
Emma: "Are all presidents famous?"
Me: "Pretty much. But he is the first African American president so it means a lot."
Emma: "What does African American mean?"
Me: "It means his skin is a little darker than yours."
Emma: "I didn't even notice that."
